I had a problem.

Commune started from a simple problem: I wanted to join a community and couldn’t find one. No platform, no matchmaking, no way to discover the groups that actually fit. So I built the thing I wish existed. A home for people looking for their people.

I'm Gage Gough, the founder of Commune. I'm also the founder of Malibu Media House, food as God intended, and Apollo, as well as the co-founder of Octave.

I love traveling, exploring new places, and anything outdoors. I’m based in Los Angeles and spend most of my time creating things that feel real and meaningful.

I believe God designed us to live connected lives where we are known, supported, and surrounded by people who help us grow. Today many of us live behind screens instead of inside real community. Commune is my answer to that. It exists to bring people back to the kind of life God intended for us.
